I recently and quite suddenly became hopelessly addicted to high-end beauty products. This blog is my thoughts on various things as I discover them.

TJMaxx Haul
Love high-end beauty products but don’t have the paycheck for it? You are not alone. I spend way more money than I should on beauty products but there are ways to cut down on your spending and still have all of the things that you love. One of them is TJMaxx! I have always loved shopping for clothes and purses at TJMaxx but I never really looked much at their cosmetics until a few weeks ago. They have some great skin care and hair care products for crazy on sale (sometime half off!). The catch is you have to look through everything and you have to go often because you never know what they are going to have. I plan on going in every few weeks to stock up on stuff. I didn’t find anything I’d already used and knew worked but I found a few things I’ve been wanting to try or at least were by brands I respected. Last time I went shopping this is what I got:
Sephora by OPI Blasted nail laquer in Turquoise
Elizabeth Arden Good Morning Eye Treatment
Elizabeth Arden Clear the Way Mask
DermOrganic Skin Care Sampler (which included facial cleanser, facial moisturizer, and hand and body lotion)
and a 2 pack of Bella Beauty satin sleep masks (in hot pink and neon green with pink polka dots).
I was most excited about the DermOrganic skin care sampler because I have been hearing a lot of good things about them and I’ve been wanting to try some of their products. I also was super excited about the sleep masks because I work at night, therefore sleep during the day and these colorful ones are much prettier than my boring black sleep mask I have now.
Now if I bought all of these products at their full retail price it would cost me $63.50. At TJMaxx I only paid $43.95. That’s like 30% off. That’s pretty good if I do say so myself.
